Kilt Measuring Guide
Measuring for a kilt is important to get the perfect fit. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you measure your waist, hips, fell, and length.
Step 1: Waist Measurement
First, measure your waist. Use a measuring tape around your waist, where you want the kilt to sit. This is usually around your belly button. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight. Write down the measurement in inches.
Step 2: Hip Measurement
Next, measure your hips. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips. This is usually around your hips' widest point. Keep the tape straight and snug. Record this number too.
Step 3: Fell Measurement
Now, measure the fell. The fell is the distance from your waist to your hips. Start at your waistline and measure down to the widest part of your hips. This is your fell measurement.
Step 4: Length Measurement
Finally, measure the length of your kilt. Start at your waistline where you took your waist measurement. Measure down to the middle of your knee. This will be the length of your kilt. Make sure to stand straight while taking this measurement.
With these measurements, you can order a kilt that fits you perfectly!
Jacket Measuring Guides
Step 1: Measure the Neck Size
Wrap a measuring tape around the base of your neck. Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight. Write down the measurement in inches or centimeters. This will be your neck size.
Step 2: Measure the Chest Size
Stand up straight with your arms at your sides. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your arms. Make sure the tape is level and not too tight. Record the measurement.
Step 3: Measure the Waist Size
Wrap the measuring tape around your natural waist, which is usually just above the belly button. Keep the tape snug but comfortable. Take note of the measurement.
Step 4: Measure the Sleeve Length
Start measuring from the top of your shoulder, where your arm meets your body. Run the tape down the outside of your arm to just past your wrist. This is your sleeve length.
Step 5: Measure the Back Length
Place the measuring tape at the base of your neck. Run it down your back to the point where you want the jacket to end. Write down this length.
Step 6: Measure Your Height
Stand straight against a wall with your shoes off. Measure from the top of your head to the floor. This will give you your height.
